How to know if the suspension bushes need to be replaced
Visual check: Lift the vehicle and inspect the suspension bushes. Look for cracks, tears or signs of excessive wear. Damaged bushes may be cracked or deformed.
Movement test: Use a lever or metal bar to apply a force to the suspension components near the bushes. Excessive movement or loose parts may indicate worn bushes.
Symptoms while driving: If you notice rattling or squeaking noises, unusual vibrations or a blurred steering feel, this may be due to defective suspension bushes.
Uneven tire wear: Uneven tire wear can also be a sign that the bushes are worn, as they no longer hold the wheels correctly in alignment.
If any of these signs are present, it’s likely that the bushes need replacing.
